Born from a living room in chaos.
If you've ever seen a mum of three flipping couch cushions five minutes before movie night, you've seen the moment TrooFind™ was born. Between toy baskets, the dark depths of the sofa and my own habit of leaving things in odd places (yes, the fridge, once), the search was a nightly ritual.
Looking for a safer fix
Working in tech, I went looking for a solution. Everything I found was a little plastic tag to stick, tape or hang onto the remote: easy to pop off, tempting for curious hands, and bulky on a sleek remote. I wanted something that was:
- Made for the remotes we actually use
- Tough enough to survive three kids
- Part of the remote, not an add-on
When I couldn't find it, I built it.
Hide the tech, keep the comfort
We designed a silicone sleeve with a hidden pocket at the base. The tracker sits tucked behind the remote, where children can't reach it, and the sloped back makes the remote nicer to hold.
