This Privacy Policy describes how TrooFind™, a brand of GenXUnited Holdings Inc. ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information when you use the TrooFind™ Remote Tracking Sleeve and our website, www.troofind.com.
Our commitment to your privacy
Your home is your sanctuary. We designed our products so your location data stays private. TrooFind™ does not track, store or have access to the real-time location of your remote or your devices.
Location data
Any location features are handled by your smartphone and its platform provider's location services. We do not receive or store this data. Your use of those services is subject to your platform provider's own terms and privacy policy.
Information we collect
- Contact & waitlist: when you use our contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address and message so we can respond or notify you about launch.
- Website analytics: we may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not identify you personally.
- Orders: once sales open, we will collect your name, shipping address and payment information to fulfil your order. Payments are processed by secure third-party payment processors; we do not store card numbers.
How we use your information
- To respond to questions and provide support.
- To notify waitlist subscribers about launch (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To process and ship orders.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Sharing & security
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, email delivery or shipping carriers), solely for that purpose. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the limited data we hold.
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our hardware uses a hidden, child-resistant battery compartment designed with coin-cell safety requirements in mind, including Reese's Law.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's PIPEDA.
